DEATH POETS SOCIETY (a peter weir film)
"He was their inspiration. He made their lives extraordinary."

My favorite movie is the death poets society, this movie is about a group of student s and their teacher (john keating) , mr keating a newly arrived English professor at Welton Academy, a private prep school, in the 1950s. Keating doesn't subscribe to more traditional notions of education that dominate the field at the time. A true maverick, he breaks the mold by encouraging his students to "seize the day" and explore life's possibilities for themselves. Poetry is his medium for instruction, and by establishing an unexpected but deeply desired connection with his students, he makes the art of language come alive for them. He teacHes them to live the present, to make their lives extraordinary , to make their dreams come true, because only to dream we have freedom. The students inspired by their teacher started to follow their dreams, in special one of them: neil perry, who has passion for acting.
The first time I saw this movie I was 16 years old, it was magic because the movie left me many less
ons, one of the most important is “seize the day ( Carpe Diem)” it arrived to my heart. this movie don’t have spectacular special effects or a great action scenes, but it is a movie that teaches you to live good way and to learn that the attitude with you live your life can make a big difference, we are human beings full of passion, That is why this is my favorite movie, if you haven’t seen the movie yet, do it, because it is beautiful.
