Do yo like now Granada???Well, Granada is one city in Spain, this was very important becouse this was part or the Cordova`s Caliphate and in this was the most populated city in Europa.
Also in this city is instalated the Saint Inquisition and an old legend says that in the Albaicin lived two youngs that were fell in loved buy for the religion an tha Santa Inquisition they were separated, the boy was jew and the girld was arab but they was assassinated.
The Alhambra was a palace, a fortress and home of the Nasrid Sultans, high government officials, servants and other people , the last Islamic sultanate in the lberian Peninsula. Together with the Mezquita of Cordoba, the Alhambra is one of the most widely known of all Islamic works of art.
The Alhambra was not a single static construction, built at a specific date, but rather the result of an evolution, successive reforms and extensions.
Today, four groups of buildings can be identified on the Alhambra Palace hill:
Alcazaba, this military fortress was built on the oldest site of the Alhambra and served a purely military purpose as it was situated on the highest part of the hill, watching over the surrounding area and other like the Nasrid Palaces, the Generalife Gardens.
The Granada weather is hot, dry summers and cold, fairly dry winters.
In summer it can be very hot during the day. There is very little rain from June to September.
In winter the temperatures can fall as low as 0ºC and if there is a wind coming off the Sierra Nevada mountains it can feel colder.
